We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Senior Project Manager, Project Analyst III. The position will be supported from Colorado Springs, CO.

This position is contingent on Prime Contractor selection.


  • Provide acquisition project management support to the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) Government project manager leads
  • Develop Tech Eval package for Proposals
  • Development of Statement of Objectives and/or Statement of Work for projects in support of LTRS
  • Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines and ensure system modifications meet requirements.
  • Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of Launch Range and Network systems.
  • Review and assess contractor designs, conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.
  • Coordinate and complete Readiness Assessment for each LTRS project milestones (PRR, PDR, CDR IRR and TRR)
  • Assist the Government PM on developing Entrance Criteria, Acceptance Criteria and Exit Criteria for design reviews
  • Additional duties as assigned 


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in general project management, engineering and systems analysis
  • 8 years’ specialized project management experience overseeing the DoD Defense Acquisition processes

Desired Skills:

  • Hands on experience creating, reviewing, and coordinating DoD acquisition documents to include Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, Statement of Work (SOW) documents and conducting tech evals on proposals
  • Familiarity with LTRS operations and modernization programs at Vandenberg AFB, CA and Cape Canaveral AFS, FL
  • Strong computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office products (especially Project), and the ability to learn and use new software programs
  • Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments and trades and explain results of technical studies in a systems engineering context
  • Understanding of performance and requirements analysis techniques, and acceptance testing strategies/methodologies.
  • Solid work ethic including ability to work with limited local supervision, and strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Possess basic theory and concept of operation of range instrumentation and network architectures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) 


  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university in engineering, information technology, science, business, or other related area of study.

Clearance:  Secret




In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $95,000-$115,000; however, USfalcon considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities as well as a candidate’s work experience, knowledge, skills, education and training.
