We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Logistics Manager II to join the Global Network Systems Branch (AFLCMC/HBGW) Team at Hanscom AFB. The assigned Logistics Manager will work in direct support of government Branch leadership, logisticians, engineers and program managers through the acquisition cycle of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the implementation of robust logistics and sustainment support processes to address the lifecycle requirements of the AF DCGS program

  • Assist the HBGW Logistics team with the sustainment and replenishment needs for AF DCGS hardware, most notably, computer related systems supporting the operational DCGS sites.

  • Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services that include drafting and reviewing logistics documentation to include Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSPs), RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), CDRLs, SEPs, LCMPs, Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Orders, FCA/PCA documents, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR)

  • Provide analyses of the development /sustainment contractor’s ILS program, data deliveries, pre-award surveys, design reviews, and support-related testing

  • Document, evaluate, and review the development/sustainment system’s life cycle cost analyses and repair level analyses

  • Developing logistics instructions for operational organizations regarding field implementations of system logistics concepts

  • Coordinate procurement of logistics deliverables (e.g., spares, support equipment, and training support).

  • Integrate system upgrade documentation into logistics information repositories

  • Support provisioning, inventory and asset management, inventory and asset accountability, and site surveys.

  • Additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years of related experience.

  • Experience may be substituted for education requirements.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience on Dept of Defense or Air Force acquisition programs is highly desired.
  • Experience with the lifecycle logistics and sustainment needs of computer related equipment that supports operational weapon systems
  • Knowledge of basic theories and principles of systems design, specifications development techniques; and an understanding of acquisition and maintenance requirements as well as organizational functions involved in logistical support.
  • Knowledge of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, and development.
  • Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system and transfer into operational use, to include the identification and correlation of specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program.
  • Ability to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals, identify support requirements (including funding, contract development, and other technical support requirements), and establish relationships between the participants involved in deploying the plan.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of business, industrial management, contracting procedures, technical concepts and production practices to evaluate proposals and activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) 

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

 

Clearance: Secret

 

Travel: CONUS and Potentially OCONUS, not to exceed 25%
