We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Project Integrator Craftsman (PI CFT) to support the STAR Delta, OL-A (P) Plans and Programs Flight at Schriever AFB, CO. The Plans and Programs Flight develops strategic guidance, facilitates the Systems Implementation Process (SIP), develops the Lessons Learned (L2) program, supports administrative, budgetary, manpower, and programming functions for DMOC-S, and serves as the point of contact for coordination activities with external agencies. The PI CFT assists the OL-A Plans and Programs Flight Chief and interfaces with subject matter experts to provide specialized support to ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and revision/update of the OL-A Director’s vision/mission statements and organizational strategy through the OL-A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Oversee, coordinate and arrange semi-annual OL-A Strategic Planning conferences at the direction of the Director, to establish OL-A annual goal review and quarterly goal progress tracking Assist in maintaining the DMOC-S’ Joint National Training Capability Certification.
  • Manage and oversee the OL-A Lessons Learned (L2) program.
  • Manage the System Implementation Process (SIP) to ensure the proper tracking of SMC/STAO advanced training capabilities into OL-A Operations and facilitate the transition of M&S requirements into technical solutions.
  • Manage the CSRD process by assisting with creating, submitting and tracking support requests, act as a liaison to USAFWC Det 1 for their overall CSRD processes.
  • Author, coordinate and staff all OL-A external agreements to include MOAs and MOUs.
  • Track ATO progress/status and inform the government of any changes/updates.
  • Create reports, briefings, and documents necessary for OL-A mission accomplishment, internal and external agency communications, and day-to-day business on behalf of the Deputy Director, DMOC-S.
  • Incorporate AF and Joint policy, doctrine, guidance, concepts and other related material to ensure the OL-A mission is congruent with HHQ direction.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on strategic-level guidance in all areas related to the mission of the DMOC-S.
  • Manage, maintain, and update the OL-A library with Joint, HHQ, HQ AFSPC, SMC, AFAMS and DMO-S documentation of current and future advanced training policy’s, initiatives and programs on the shared drive.
  • Other tasks/duties as required in order to ensure success for SF exercise and AT events
  • Additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Current or previous experience (within the last 5 years) as an Air Force Space Command (or USSF), HQ Air Force, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), or Combatant Command (CCMD) staff officer.
  • Ten years operational space experience 
  • Eight additional years of experience may be substituted for education requirement

Desired Skills:

  • Current Project Management certification

  • Familiar with Joint Staff/J7’s Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) program

  • Ten (10) years of operational and technical military experience in planning, developing, coordinating and executing United States Space Force (USSF) space capabilities in Service, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and Combatant Command (CCMD) operations, exercises, demonstrations and/or experiments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) 

Education:

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution in Space Operations, Engineering, Operational Research, Strategic Studies or a space-related field.
