We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to provide acquisition program management support to the Airspace Mission Planning Division at Hill AFB. The Mission Planning Software Support Facility is located at Hill AFB. This facility is responsible for the system distribution of Mission Planning software and Hardware worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the Mission Planning Support Contract (MPSC) Award Fee plan and providing inputs on contractor performance to the Government
  • Compile, evaluate and report survey data from various training events (either at Hill AFB or customer locations) and forward to the MPSC Contracting Officer
  • Continually monitor Mission Planning Environment (MPE) schedules and assist in the oversight of MPSC in meeting milestone and fielding events
  • Support implementation and execution of Agile software development processes in concert with Government and Prime contractors.
  • Support the System Support Manager (SSM) at meetings related to milestone and fielding support requested of the Mission Planning System Support Facility
  • Prepare various presentations regarding the status of MPE fielding events
  • Provide (as directed by SSM or representative) day-to-day management guidance to MPSC support contractor
  • Works with assigned administrative, and matrixed acquisition support, financial management, engineering contracting, configuration and data management, and other staff.
  • Works with the Oasis Task Lead and Oasis teammates to document processes, and initiate and implement AFSO21 Rapid Improvement Events, Training Events and mentoring sessions for all task personnel.
  • Responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedule inputs, and tracking and reporting on Progress for assigned program(s).
  • Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, and other technical documentation.
  • Facilitates and supports Division meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.
  • Assists as needed in preparing and reviewing program/project documentation, e.g. Determinations and Findings, Justifications and Approvals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Statement Of Objectives (SOOs), Statements-of-Work (SOWs), Program Implementation Packages (PiPs), Performance Works Statements (PWS), Systems/Technical Requirements Documents (SRD/TRD), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Program Support Agreements (PSA), EMAs, 1067s, etc. and assist in source selections.
  • Additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) 

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

 

Clearance: Secret with ability to obtain TS.

 

Travel:  10%
