    USfalcon Inc., is looking to hire a Business Consultant to support the Office of the Department of the Navy (DON) Chief Management Officer (OCMO) in its mission to better synchronize, integrate, and coordinate the business operations of the department and ensure optimal alignment in support of the war fighting mission. The consultant will focus on synchronizing, integrating, and aligning DoD business activities and management structures from an enterprise perspective. 


    Responsible for providing analytical and technical assistance in conducting capability assessments and analysis of legislative conditions; analysis of industry trends and innovations and market research; develop optimal business models; and support development of high-level plans and development of detailed reports backed by data and analysis to support conclusions and recommendations.  The range of assigned tasks are not restricted to those identified below, management may assign additional duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

    • Determine operational objectives by studying business 
    • Perform requirements analysis, assist in development, design, and analysis of client business processes.
    • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    • Assess and design systems and processes to support overall business strategies.
    • Perform business process assessment and improvement.
    • Develop plans and programs for change implementation for the client.
    • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications.
    • Analyze data such as statistical records, reports, or organizational charts.
    • Identify problem areas and find solutions by considering alternatives while considering the benefits and costs of any recommendations.
    • Development of detailed reports backed by data and analysis to support conclusions and recommendations.
    • Maintain documentation for reference by regulators, auditors, and management.
    • Support the implementation of new business processes and development solutions.
    • Develop and present high level briefs for and to senior executives
    • Actively coordinate, support, and facilitate senior level working groups on a regular weekly basis
    • Identify process improvements and provide process recommendations



    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
    • Strong communication and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated experience in business case development, gap analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping and methodology
    • Intermediate experience with data driven solutions
    • Intermediate or advanced user of MS power point, word, excel and SharePoint
    • Intermediate or advanced user of Adobe Pro
    • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, perform business case development.
    • Previous experience in/knowledge of Defense financial/audit readiness functional

    Desired Skills:

    • Familiarity with Navy business and financial systems is a plus (PBIS, PBIS-IT, SNaP-IT, DITPR, DITPR-DON, DITIP, IBF-DAP)
    • Previous experience in/knowledge of Defense financial/audit readiness functional
    • Demonstrated experience with various types of analysis methodologies and business intelligence tools
    • Knowledge of and experience with DON FAMs, defense business systems, and PPBE
