    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Journeyman Equipment Specialist to work at Tinker AFB, OK.

    Responsibilities

    Specific:

     

    • Support all “General” task responsibilities—with emphasis on KC-46 structural components and systems Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently
    • May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job

    General:

     

    • Evaluate and recommend equipment procurement and sustainment plans and strategies. The contractor will ensure system design is maintainable and sustainable
    • Provide technical data support for engineering specifications, user manuals, monthly reports, and engineering studies
    • Assist with the designing and testing, producing, procuring, supplying, operating, repairing, or disposing parts, material and equipment
    • Assist with developing and revising equipment/parts maintenance programs
    • Provide Tech Order support and directly assist the Tech Order Management Authority (TOMA), to include reviewing data, posting updates and changes, considering safety implications, technical orders and feasibility, and providing and supporting Tech Order Validation & Verification and/or Certification & Validation activities
    • Assist the TOMA in developing a Tech Order transition plan from CLS to organic management at the KC-46 Product Support Integrator office
    • Assist the TOMA in updating, numbering, indexing, editing, archiving and delivery to the user
    • Have S1000D experience and assist the TOMA in performing S1000D-compliant CSDB management, software updating, reviewing recommended changes, authoring changes into the CSDB, composing, editing, and processing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)
    • Assist the TOMA in accordance with TO 00-5-1 and TO 00-5-3, the KC-46 TOMA plans to stand-up an organic sustainment office at Tinker AFB in the KC-46 Product Support Integrator office consisting of the appropriate number of personnel to accomplish these sustainment functions
    • Ensure support equipment user training requirements are accomplished and shall support all tasks in the Configuration and Technical Data Management Support section
    • Provide planning, guidance, organizing, and managing workload assigned to the KC-46 Product Support Integrator, Technical Services Support Section, focused on Flight Systems, Structures, and Avionics
    • Ensure KC-46 fleet availability is maintained through analysis, integration, and test of aerospace and mechanical systems into the KC-46 Tanker fleet
    • Assist with a variety of disciplines to manage configurations activities, develop airworthiness certification criteria, and assess, define and implement sound technical processes across the organization for large complex multi-phase projects
    • Plan, organize, and direct world-wide activities of the KC-46 Technical Support Section, ensuring that KC-46 including Aircraft Structure, Landing Gear, Flight Control, Hydraulic, Fuel, Pneumatic, Air Conditioning/Pressurization, Egress, Life Science, Environmental, Fire Control, Navigation, and Communication Systems, in addition to Inspection Manuals, Mission Avionics (e.g., Radar, Identification Friend or Foe, Data Processing and Display) and all supporting Aerospace Ground Equipment and software, all characterized by a high degree of technological complexity complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs
    • Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with using commands, internal and external organizations
    • Meet with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, and resolve problems that arise
    • Utilize safety practices and procedures within the organization following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe work environment
    • Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

     

    • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required
    • An additional five (5) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, for a total of fifteen (15) years of experience

     

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook) 

     

    Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

      

     Clearance: Final Secret security clearance is required
