    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking an Orbital Analyst IV  to work at Schriever AFB CO.

    Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to provide Orbital Analysis for the GSU. The location of this position is Schriever AFB, CO.

    Responsibilities

    • CONUS travel may be required
    • Coordinate projects characterized by high visibility, urgency, and/or program criticality.
    • Design, build, and use sophisticated models to simulate real-world environments.
    • Develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions.
    • Communicate complex ideas both orally and in writing clearly and concisely and with technical accuracy using tact and diplomacy.
    • Lead and participate in divers’ study teams, originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies, and execute projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

     

    • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience to include: previous Orbital Analysts experience

    Desired Skills:

     

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
    • Experience in independent review of execution results vs government plans (e.g., fuel usage).
    • Experience in anomaly resolution support and potential corrective strategies.
    • Possess orbital analyst education to include software tools to fly all mission-required profiles.
    • Previous developmental/operational test (DT/OT) support to include assisting in DT/OT requirements, participation in testing, providing data collection, analysis, and lessons learned.
    • 7 years OA and modeling of complex military systems; knowledge of OA techniques with emphasis on ability to apply new developments, methodologies, and research finding to broad studies.
    • Knowledge of space experimentation methodologies and practices.
    • Knowledge of Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) or similar system operations.
    • Expertise testing satellite systems and thorough understanding of their concepts of employment to effectively interface with the development community, Air Staff, OSD, and contractors.
    • Previous SAP experience.

     

    Education: Master’s degree in a technical field, from an accredited institution (Highly Desired)

      

     

    Clearance: Final Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.
