  • Overview

    USfalcon, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Growth to provide corporate growth leadership to a $100M professional services Government contractor. Lead, direct and coordinate the activities of the USfalcon corporate growth organization in support of policies, goals and objectives established by Executive Management. Grow and maintain strong new business pipeline and capture rates.

     

    Location:  Reston, VA OR Cary, NC

    Responsibilities

    • Overall leadership of the Business Acquisition Process to include oversight and management of business development, pipeline, capture management and proposal development.
    • Coordinate and execute development and implementation of strategic planning guidance and Annual Operating Plan.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the Government professional services environment and identify and coordinate action to execute upon opportunities to fulfill the corporate strategy.
    • Mentor, train and motivate the business development team, Division leadership and proposal writers and reviewers. Manage the integration of organizational resources and capabilities necessary to create an efficient and effective team.
    • Oversee the marketing and capture of programs within the federal government market and ensure compliance with DoD and Federal procurement regulations.
    • Identify strategic new business opportunities and customers that align with the capabilities and competencies of the company.
    • Create and execute customer call plans that support the corporate growth strategy.
    • Support teaming strategies and negotiations, contract development and due diligence requirements for mergers and acquisitions.
    • Assist in the identification and establishment of strategic partnerships with small and large businesses that will enhance USfalcon’s ability to win new business.
    • Manage the Proposal Development Center and proposal reviews including continual review of lessons learned and best practices to ensure compliant and quality proposals.
    • Work with Division and Corporate leadership to develop win strategies and contribute to the development of price to win and competitive intelligence collection, analysis, and evaluation.
    • Communicate and work well with all levels and management as a strong, likable team player and be a key contributor to overall business success.
    • Represent the company at key meetings and symposiums with government and commercial customers.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise direct labor employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years’ experience with a proven track record of business development leadership across a diverse and complex portfolio of technology-oriented services to DoD, Federal Civilian Agencies and the Intelligence Community. 

    Education:  A Bachelor's degree from an accredited insitution.
