    • Assist with Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), data calls, and reviews
    • Be knowledgeable of the application of program management initiatives to include purchasing commercial items such as Non-Developmental Items (NDI), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified items.
    • Organize and assist in managing critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment of software capabilities on Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs within the Tanker Directorate portfolio
    • Participate in the planning and supporting of technical interchange meetings, design reviews, program management reviews, production and sustainment reviews and other meetings as required.
    • Participate in system developer or original equipment manufacturer technical and programmatic reviews, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
    • Provide acquisition program management support for all phases of the acquisition lifecycle commensurate with the Tanker Directorate portfolio. 
    • Support program execution per established strategies and plans, support all program milestones, and provide support for briefings and meetings as required.
    • Provide support for all aspects of program cost, schedule, and performance. 
    • Track appropriation and allocation of funds to ensure the efficient obligation and execution of funds and ensure costs and scheduled activities are aligned and tracked to meet program goals. 
    • Provide expertise to support meetings and provide rapid response acquisition surge support for new start or other identified programs. 
    • Support work sessions with and for the Government.
    • Assist in development of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and participate in Source Selections when appropriate.


    Required Qualifications: 


    The Acquisition Program Management Support Senior shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a Master’s degree, or a minimum of 20 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree.  


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook). 
    • Experience with development, verification and/or production of fixed wing aircraft across the acquisition lifecycle (per DoDI 5000.02).
    • Demonstrated capability to support program execution per established strategies and plans, support all program milestones, and provide support for briefings and meetings as required as well as support the development of program requirements documents.
