    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a SharePoint Developer to support the Field Operations Division (FOD) of the United Stated Citizenship and Immigrations Services (USCIS). This is a great opportunity for you to lead the charge in developing and enhancing the FOD web presence on the USCIS Enterprise Collaboration Network (ECN), a SharePoint environment. You will have an opportunity and expectations to increase the SharePoint technology utilization for FOD to implement workflows, automated forms, reporting of data, surveys and additional enhancements that will enable a richer and fuller web experience for visitors and FOD employees.


    This position is full time and located at USCIS 111 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington DC. 



    • Assist with development of SharePoint processes and edit SharePoint content such as websites, graphics, etc. (originated by the government)
    • Utilize ECN/SharePoint to create automated forms, such as surveys, which have built-in approval/vetting process workflows
    • Help develop/manage internet/intranet sites throughout FOD’s field offices, nationwide
    • Analyze and resolve issues related to SharePoint sites, workflows and content
    • Design multi-media products such as logos and videos on FOD-specific topics (i.e. Electronic Immigration System (ELIS), Form EB-485) using government-supplied graphics and development tools
    • Organize and present technical information that includes analysis of alternative ways to use SharePoint to meet FOD needs.
    • Gather, document, track and develop and deliver solutions to business requirements on what is needed on the SharePoint/ECN sites.
    • Through SharePoint, develop, track and maintain SOP, archives, databases, for managing communications and office content
    • Conduct studies for process improvement and analyze data/metrics to formulate recommendations
    • Train those with access and “need to know” how to navigate through various USCIS ECN sites as needed
    • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to ensure that electronic tools (SharePoint Visual Studio, etc.) will be effectively leveraged and used
    • Use web systems (SharePoint, Visual Studio, etc.) to develop intranet/internet site and custom workflows
    • Use SharePoint applications to assist with the planning, developing and implementation of employee communications content management and process improvement
    • Use SharePoint applications to assist in managing the intake process for employee communications materials and help ensure optimum messaging and efficient processes are developed based on business requirements
    • Develop, track and maintain SOP, archives, databases, for managing communications and office content through SharePoint
    • Use various Adobe and Microsoft (MS) solutions to design enhanced multimedia products such as banners, videos, podcasts, enhanced page layouts, picture sliders, graphics, photo galleries, charts and tables for use on internet sites
    • Develop SharePoint solutions for content management and process improvement. Organize and present technical information in useful formats to stakeholders. Edit web content and develop work processes for the FOD through the use of MS SharePoint and SharePoint Designer. Use Adobe solutions to design multimedia products for use on various intranet sites. Establish and record procedures to manage intranet content and other business requirements
    • Conduct studies to improve employee communication. Analyze data and track metrics to formulate recommendations for content management and communications. Work closely with the managing editors(s) to ensure intranet content is updated according to agency standards
    • Track the progress of several ongoing projects simultaneously for various business lines. Exercise judgement to determine priority of assignments using knowledge of organizational priorities and deadlines
    • Explain technical information and train users using non-technical terms. Participate in discussions with stakeholders to develop appropriate workflows. Provide assistance to content management systems users regarding their roles, expectations, and objectives for managing intranet content
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that electronic methodologies are effectively leveraged and utilized
