  • Overview

    RGS, a USfalcon company is seeking to add an IT Specialist to our dynamic and fast-growing Department of Justice team. The role will be supporting the customers SharePoint intranet site and other business applications. This includes working with stakeholders to design, develop and deploy new web pages for their business areas. The web page design will require user research and usability evaluation to provide an exceptional and intuitive User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX). The work is full-time at the client's location in Washington D.C. and requires a Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain Sensitive compartmented information (SCI) access and a CI poly. This is a five-year contract that is currently in option year one.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate into technical requirements for building web pages
    • Participate in planning and design sessions for new and enhanced web pages
    • Build, test and deploy new web pages and update current pages
    • Make recommendations to improve system usability
    • Train and assist content managers with maintaining their pages
    • Run Splunk reports to determine the effectiveness of SharePoint statistics
    • Resolve end-user support tickets and change requests
    • Prepare, maintain, and update software and system design and configuration documentation
    • Conduct meetings with stakeholders to gather information related to overall system performance for future enhancements
    • Support system upgrades and new versions
    • Exercise Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, and reliability and maintainability to control design and production and minimize life cycle cost

     

    Qualifications

    • Experience with SharePoint design and development
    • Experience in mature software development principles and practices
    • Experience with gathering and deciphering business requirements

    Education: Eight Years’ Experience and a Bachelor’s degree

    Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain DOJ SCI access and a CI Poly
