    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Technical Lead to work at Bagram, Afghanistan.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Serve as the network architect for all systems and tasks

    • Maintain understanding of systems, network, and computer network defense (CND) technologies and information assurance (IA) policies

    • Coordinate troubleshooting and project tasks between contract subject matter experts (SME) from all JNOSC-A sections

    • Lead JNOSC-A project teams in the development and implementation of new IT solutions and upgrades to existing solutions

    • Manage IT projects through their full life-cycle and assist JNOSC-A officers in-charge (OIC) with managing their IT projects in accordance with best project management practices

    • Participate in the design, transition, and operations (DTO) of IT solutions in accordance with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices

    • Assist JNOSC-A OICs in the management of resources required to successfully implement IT solutions

    • Develop risk mitigation and quality assurance strategies for JNOSC-A IT projects

    • Report the status of IT projects to the JNOSC-A Director, OICs and other stakeholders and provide advice on Projects Progression

    • Review Requests for Change (RFC) and participate in Change Management Boards (CMB)

    • Develop and maintain baseline configuration documentation, including updates based on the implementation of approved changes

    • Develop trend analysis that indicates root cause of recurring or significant network outages/incidents

    • Develop plans for technical upgrades, configuration changes, or policy changes to address problems identified through trend analysis or problem management

    • Additional duties as assigned

     

     

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Ten years’ experience managing IT projects in a DoD hosted services environment

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
    • Extensive experience within a DoD hoted services enviroment 

    Education: 

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT management or related field preferred
    • PMP certification
    • Network and/or systems certification(s) such as Cisco CCNP or Microsoft MCSE/MCSA
    • Completed ITIL v3 Foundations
    • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical 3 (IAT-3) certification
