    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking an Operations Support Analyst III to work at Schriever AFB, CO.

    Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to provide Operations support for the GSU. The location of this position is Schriever AFB, CO.

    Responsibilities

    • Designing and conduct studies and prepare solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a major command program.
    • Design and conduct training materials (documents, briefings) IAW AFMAN 36·2234, Instructional System Development, Chapters 6·8.
    • Plan, organize, and develop studies or projects as tasked by the operations staff, making recommendations on substantive operating programs, and negotiate effectively with others to accept and implement recommendations,where the proposals involve substantial resources.
    • Communicate complex ideas both orally and in writing clearly and concisely and with technical accuracy using tact and diplomacy.
    • Identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options concerning anomaly resolution.
    • Lead and participate in diverse study teams, originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies, and execute projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints.
    • Plan, organize, and negotiate effectively with senior analysts and management to accept and implement recommendations, where proposals involve substantial resources, and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.
    • Establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, preferably space operations experience.

     

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
    • Previous SAP experience desired.
    • Experience with unit Anomaly process to help resolve anomalous conditions in spacecraft, command and control, communications, and ground processing systems.
    • Knowledge of the government's program goals and objectives; the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluations.
    • Knowledge of the application of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of space experiments toward development and/or improvement of future operational capability.
    • Knowledge of military command structure, missions, programs, and organizational relationships and program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions as related to actual events.
    • Knowledge of the various military entities involved in overall planning and execution of squadron experiments.
    • Knowledge of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, acquisition, and production.

     

    Education: Bachelor's degree with a preferred concentration in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math, from an accredited Institution.
