    USfalcon, Inc. recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States is seeking a Director of Business Development to work in the Newport News and Reston, VA areas.

    Responsibilities

    The Business Development Director has primary responsibility for the identification, development, pursuit and capture of professional services opportunities for Defense and Civilian Agencies. Specific emphasis for this position are customers within any or all within the following: Army TRADOC, PEO Aviation, AMRDEC, NAVAIR, Coast Guard and Civil Agencies as appropriate.

     

    • Developing strategies and growth plans based upon sound, business-based analyses of market information and current and planned USfalcon capabilities
    • Identifying, developing and realizing revenue opportunities, based upon these strategies
    • Developing and managing the relationship between USfalcon and new or existing customers by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders throughout the market
    • Working with corporate management to continually improve corporate business development and proposal development processes
    • Working with Vice Presidents, Directors, Program Managers and Capture Managers to develop and identify proposal outlines, win strategies, differentiators, and teaming partners
    • Identifying opportunities for revenue growth in both the current year, as well as over the next 24 to 36 months

    Qualifications

    Required Skills: 

    • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in a federal business development capacity offering professional services. This should include experience leading the identification, qualification, pursuit, proposal development and capture of opportunities.  This should also include the ability to establish a strong “win strategy” and capture plan for identified opportunities.
    • Experience with established business development processes, developing strong customer relationships
    • Knowledge of and direct experience developing and closing professional services business within a variety of markets and customer bases.
    • Experience in the government contractor support services procurement and proposal process.

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Power-Point, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
    • Active Secret security clearance
    • Aviation background. Defense or Civilian background
    • Prior military or government service
    • Knowledge of pipeline management, Shipley, and Deltek
    • Strong writing and public speaking skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to actively listen, read audiences, and quickly identify key issues and areas of need.

     

    Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, from an accredited institution

    Clearance:  Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
