    USfalcon, Inc., is seeking a Action Officer. The Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) headquarters staff at the Pentagon supports the warfighter by setting requirements, budgeting resources, and managing programs for many different Navy programs. The Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Undersea Warfare Division (N97) is responsible for coordinating overall policy for undersea force planning, programming, and budgeting, and is the source of undersea warfare expertise for developing platform, payload volume, payload, people and posture requirements for the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Warfare Systems (N9). The Division is responsible for providing expert advocacy for undersea warfare related research and development, acoustic and non-acoustic submarine security, undersea warfare capability development, integrated undersea surveillance systems, submarine force structure, and oversight of undersea force program execution. The Division is responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the Integrated Undersea Future Investment Strategy which defines the technology and force structure way ahead for the undersea forces and undersea warfare systems.


    The Candidate shall provide Action Officer/Requirement Officer support to N972, the Tactical Submarine Branch of N97. This branch’s responsibilities include In-Service Submarine Maintenance for all Submarine Classes, VIRGINIA Payload Module (VPM), NMMES/NMMES-TR, Acoustic Superiority, Submarine Advanced Development, Submarine Acoustic Systems, Submarine Combat Systems, Submarine Imaging Systems Submarine Electronic Warfare Systems, Submarine Missile Systems and Submarine Navigation Systems. Included with these programs and their respective requirements documents are commonly the entire DOTMLPF-P, in coordination with other N97 branches.


    • Provide on-site support, strategic analysis, and requirements management support for N972.
    • Analyze, evaluate and prepare program briefs, reports and correspondence.
    • Provide program support for reviews, conferences, briefings and other meetings.
    • Provide support and assistance in reviewing, assessing, and complying with policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures established by DoD, Department of Navy (DoN), and Assistant Secretary of the Navy (ASN) Research, Development, and Acquisition (RD&A).
    • Provide support in pre-acquisition and acquisition strategy planning and implementation.
    • Participate in working groups, conferences, integrated product teams (IPTs) and meetings, as directed by the government.
    • Contractor will be efficient with the usage of MS Office applications, Resource Allocation Module (Dualie Generator) and Program Budget Information System Web applications (PBIS Web).


    • Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
    • Experience applying mission associated concepts, policies, requirements processes, and program guidance.
    • The Candidate shall be proficient in MS Office 2010 including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access and Adobe Acrobat.
    • The Candidate shall produce briefing slides, metric charts, program schedules, and organizational charts, as necessary.
    • Performing operational functions, including assessing implementation of defined requirements associated to the mission and subsequently developing plans to better meet those requirements.
    • Assessing historical and current program performance in relation to mission objectives, and analyzing the effects of developmental plans and/or new technologies on all factors associated to the mission.
    • Daily interaction with senior leadership within affiliated organization.
