    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Project Manager) for our Apache Maintenance Trainer (ATM) Program to work out of Newport News, Virginia.


    • Limited CONUS travel may be required
    • Lead a team of 10 to 15 electrical and mechanical engineers and technical writers in support of our Apache Mainteance Trainer (ATM) Program
    • Plan, design, and perform hardware/software integration activities and engineering functions to include reliability, maintainability, safety, human factors, risk and requirements management, and testing
    • Support contractual obligations and specified ISO, and other quality/financial control processes
    • Participate in technical and programmatic meetings, support integrated product teams, develop and present briefings
    • Develop acceptance test procedures ensuring traceability to customer requirements
    • Oversee and aid in the preparation of Technical Data Package and other deliverables
    • Participate in vendor research, recommendation, and qualification for electrical and mechanical fabricated components
    • Serve as the Project Manager for a large, complex project
    • Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific project and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the project are implemented in a timely manner
    • Provide program review planning and tailoring as well as general systems engineering support
    • Collaborate and support other members of the team
    • Additional duties as assigned.


    • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience
    • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing distributed engineering/IT projects is required


    Desired Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
    • Advanced degree in Engineering preferred
    • PMP certification preferred
    • Familiarity with rotary aircraft design and requirements traceability
    • Ability to ensure an effective efficient integration of systems, subsystems, and components
    • Ability to conduct systems engineering analysis for technology areas relating to systems development
    • Experience with continuous improve methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma)
    • Experience in aerospace/defense industry
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills


    Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
