    USfalcon, recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Knowledge Management (Senior/Lead) to work in multiple locations within Afghanistan to include but not limited to: Kandahar, Kabul, and Bagram.


    The Knowledge Management (Senior/Lead) will supports and maintains the knowledge management operations for USFOR-A, such as SharePoint and Adobe connect server administration and improvement.





    • Install, operate, and maintain SharePoint and Adobe Connect System (or others as upgraded or determined by USFOR-A).
    • Troubleshoot capability problems down to the packet level and determine if all pertinent protocols are traversing the network as intended.
    • Responsible for the development, planning, design, testing, implementation, upgrade, and management of internal and external SharePoint sites (includes 2013 and future upgrades) supporting USFOR-A and its partners.
    • Functions include, determining overall website design and structure, monitoring web site functionality, security, and integrity, troubleshooting and resolving problems, reviewing, testing, collecting and analyzing website statistics, evaluating new web applications and providing technical advice to web content providers.
    • Provides expert knowledge of SharePoint Architecture and functionality and a strong working knowledge of related technologies such as: Windows Server administration, Windows Architecture, SQL Server 20xx, Internet Information Server, Active Directory, Secure Socket Layer (SSL), Kerberos, ISA and Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint.
    • Experiences with workflow and InfoPath integration with other technologies, is necessary.
    • Analyzes USFOR-As information architecture, understand FOB, Directorate, CSTC-A and Resolute Support organizational requirements, to configure and maintain organizational taxonomies, site collections, policies, procedures, and solutions.
    • Works to install, debug, and maintain necessary code of assigned software.
    • Stays current with present trends and activities.
    • Must have strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, and organizational skills and the ability to complete assigned work with minimal instruction and supervision. Experience.
    • Performs physical resolution of user issues, as required.
    • Executes day-to-day support/maintenance activities on the servers and services.
    • Coordinates with appropriate agency to ensure backups and monitoring is being accomplished.
    • Coordinates, documents, tests, validates, and deploys new technology, as required. Provides physical server support as required.
    • Additional duties as assigned.




    • Proficiency in managing small teams in a dynamic, challenging, and geographically dispersed environment
    • ITILv3 certified
    • Microsoft MCSA: MCSA Windows Server 2012
    • Microsoft MCITP: SharePoint 2010
    • VMware Virtual Infrastructure 3.5 Certified 



    • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year college in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, math, computer science, or systems engineering with 5 years’ experience. 4 additional years can be substituted for a degree.
    • KMI Certified Knowledge Manager
    • At least 2 years of SharePoint 2013 admin experience and 3 years Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 experience.

    Clearance: Secret


    Travel: OCONUS Position


    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; SECRET, TS, or TS/SCI clearance is required.
