    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking an Configuration Manager to support US Army Cyber Command to work out of Ft Belvoir, VA.


    The qualified Configuration Manager will apply engineering and analytical disciplines to identify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems and associated systems, to control changes and nonconformance, and to track actual configurations of systems and platforms.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support that includes all activities related to CM planning.
    • Provide support that includes all activities related to Baseline Management.
    • Provide support with activities related to Configuration Identification Provide support with activities related to Configuration Audits
    • Provide support with activities related to formal reviews
    • Provide support with activities related to engineering changes.
    • Provide support with activities related to configuration management records and reports.
    • Provide support with activities related to use of automated tool Synchronize and incorporate all TTPs and SOP documentation into the CM process.
    • Maintain all CM in compliance with supported network architecture
    • Track via Remedy Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) all installation, changes, and repair history or as required IAW with approved Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Process Plan and SOP.
    • Configure and maintain lab environments to support testing for Computer Network Defense (CND) applications, device configuration, and training analysts.
    • Ensure 95% of Defensive Cyber Operation Division (DCOD) site’s hardware and software and network infrastructure are covered by a valid accreditation IAW DoD Risk Management Framework and input into the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
    • Maintain a 95% uptime rate of CND Lab environments used for testing, training, and other CM functions.
    • Coordinate with peer DCODs to develop and maintain tool standardization and U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command mandated tool common documentation formats.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
    • Experience in enterprise network cyber defense
    • Experience with using the Army Gold Master baseline images
    • Experience applying engineering and analytical discipline to identify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems.
    • Experience with controlling/documenting changes and nonconformance
    • Experience tracking configurations of systems and platforms
    • Experience operating in a DoD Intelligence environment or other national level agency preferred.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years’ experience working similar Systems Engineering, Information Technology and troubleshooting activities
    • IA Certification
      • Primary: Computer Network Defense – Infrastructure Support (CND-IS)
      • EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or
      • GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), or
      • (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or
      • CompTIA CySA+ (Exam Code CS0-001)
    • IAT Level II Certification
      • CompTIA Security+ CE certification, or
      • Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security (CCNA Security), or
      • GIAC Global Security Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), or
      • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or
      • (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

     

    CLEARANCE:Active TS/SCI

     

    Travel: Personnel may be required to travel periodically within Fort Belvoir and the National Capitol Region (NCR).

     

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; SECRET, TS, or TS/SCI clearance is required.
