    USfalcon, Inc., recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work at Ft. Eustis, Virginia.

    Responsibilities

    • CONUS travel will be required
    • Configure special purpose ground and flight test equipment used for data acquisition, display, reduction, analysis, and archiving.
    • Practical knowledge of aircraft electrical design, instrumentation, telemetry, and practices as well as flight test methods in support of rotorcraft and fixed wing aircraft data collection.
    • Implement data acquisition and monitoring controls for Pulse-Code Modulation, Aircraft Data Bus, Ethernet and IRIG-106 Standard hardware as well as other commercially available and developmental datastreams.
    • Provides technical knowledge in data collection, instrumentation equipment, telemetry, and data bus types.
    • Review existing custom-developed software routines coded in commercially-available programming languages (Matlab, LabView, Fortran, C++, TestWorks, and Famous) for previous and on-going test efforts that facilitate control-of-test equipment, data acquisition and telemetry, real-time data monitoring (ground/flight displays), and post-flight data decommutation, reduction (report generation), analysis, and archiving.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
    • A minimum of three (3) years of experience of related Aviation experience (US Army Aviation or Rotary Wing experience is preferred)
    • Experience with MIL-STD-1553 ARINC-429, CAN Bus, Ethernet, and RS-422/232/485 bus data monitoring.
    • Experience supporting data collection testing utilizing Curtis Wright Teletronics Technology Corporation (TTC) and Zodiac HEIM data recorders

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering or related discipline, from an accredited institution

     

    Clearance: The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
